Clay Box Workshop

Rhonda Harrow-Engel will return to Headwaters to lead a second clay workshop on June 11th. She will guide participants through the steps of creating a clay box using slab construction techniques. There will be a variety of pattern blocks, stamps and drawing tools available to decorate the surface and to create texture. Rhonda will glaze and fire the boxes at her Delhi studio and will have them ready for pickup at Headwaters a couple weeks later.
This workshop is suitable for all ages.
Rhonda has been teaching Drawing and Ceramics at SUNY Delhi for 30 years. She is in the midst of retiring and is beginning to offer workshops for the community at large. Rhonda grew up in NYC and graduated from Bard College with a Fine Arts degree. She moved to the Catskills in 1991 with her family and is currently the Director of the MURAL Gallery in Hobart. It is her hope to offer more workshops in drawing, painting and ceramics in the future.
The workshop fee is $75 and includes all materials.
