Stop by between 11 am and 1 pm to make a bright and colorful shirt. We would love it if you joined Roxbury Arts Group + Headwaters Arts Center and marched with our crew in the parade on the 14th! Baby and Toddler Playgroup
Headwaters Arts Center 66 Main Street, Stamford, NYBabies, toddlers and their caretakers are welcome to gather at Headwaters Arts Center to socialize and play. Balls, blocks and other sensory materials will be available for the children to interact with. Come join us and meet other parents in the area! Drop in any time between 10 and 11:30.
Figure Drawing
Headwaters Arts Center 66 Main Street, Stamford, NYFigure drawing for adults (18+) will begin on May 9th with sessions every other week. These drop-in classes cost $10 and include newsprint and charcoal. Please note that these are uninstructed sessions of life drawing. Registration is not required, but please RSVP so we can get an idea of how many places to set up.

O'Connor Foundation, the Roxbury Arts Group is excited to offer the Challenge Book Club, a curated and moderated reading group for 11 to 14 year olds that will explore age appropriate literature that has been challenged for its content. Together with book club facilitator Julie Rockefeller and other participants, readers will explore the books and their topics, share their ideas and reactions, expand their critical thinking skills, and learn about literary rating systems and their impact. Clay Box Workshop
Headwaters Arts Center 66 Main Street, Stamford, NYRhonda Harrow-Engel will return to Headwaters to lead a second clay workshop on June 11th. She will guide participants through the steps of creating a clay box using slab construction techniques. There will be a variety of pattern blocks, stamps and drawing tools available to decorate the surface and to create texture. Rhonda will glaze and fire the boxes at her Delhi studio and will have them ready for pickup at Headwaters a couple weeks later. This workshop is suitable for all ages.
