Alexandre Sazonov: “Portraits and Landscapes”

“Portraits and Landscapes” presents a captivating exhibit featuring the remarkable oil paintings of native Russian artist Alexandre Sazonov. Having honed his craft at prestigious institutions such as the Syzran Art School and the Penza College of Fine Art along the scenic Volga River in Central Russia, Alexandre’s artistic journey led him to the vibrant art scene of New York City when he relocated to the United States in 1992. His current residence is in the serene Catskills of upstate New York, which undoubtedly shapes his artistic vision. 

This exhibition showcases the diverse talent and artistic range of Alexandre Sazonov. The collection offers a unique opportunity for viewers to appreciate the mastery of the oil medium and his ability to capture the essence of both natural and human subjects with profound beauty and emotion.
