Holiday Gift Marbling Workshop

Explore the meditative and mesmerizing art of Marbling at the Headwaters Arts Center on December 10^th. This workshop features the ancient Turkish marbling technique Ebru. Participants will be using the same marbling process used in some of the earliest preserved Ebru samples that date back to the 15th century!

In this workshop, makers will get familiar with the process of floating paints on water and transferring their intricate designs onto silk scarves, hats and holiday ornaments. Make gifts to give your loved ones or to yourself! Participants will experiment throughout the workshop, creating completely unique samples and finished pieces. The same marbling pattern is never achieved twice, making for an awe-inspiring experience.
