Get inspired by working with different mediums, subjects, and teaching artists at this new Roxbury Arts Group program. Beginning and experienced artists are welcomed.
Classes held in July, August and September will focus on Printmaking. Create simple styrofoam prints and/or monoprints. Be sure to bring an old shirt to keep your clothes clean. Children and adults are welcome to come and let your inner creativity out.
Marilyn Silver has been painting for many years, focusing primarily on the landscape. Her work has been exhibited widely and can currently be viewed at the Longyear Gallery in Margaretville, NY. Silver retired recently from her career as art teacher at a public school in the Bronx, where she greatly enjoyed and harnessed the enthusiasm and creativity of her students.
