Get inspired by working with different mediums, subjects, and teaching artists at this new Roxbury Arts Group program. Beginning and experienced artists are welcomed.
In September we welcome Catskill Mountain Quilter Hall of Famer Frances Archibald and Pat Cumming as they lead a working exploring the 9-Patch: The Next Generation.
Workshop participants will complete a 2-block Table Runner (14 x 28 inches) using a traditional 9-patch block which has been reinvented into a stunning and “complicated looking” design. With a few simple rotary cuts, the traditional 9-patch block is transformed into something beautiful.
Be sure to join us later on the same day for the opening of a new exhibit ‘Inspired By Quilts’ in the Walt Meade Gallery, and then again on the weekend of September 27 & 28 for the 17th Catskill Mountain Quilters Hall of Fame Biennial!
