Join us for an evening of song, dance, magic, comedy, skits, and who-knows-what-else! With our second annual Follies event, we tap into the deep well of Catskills talent for a night of fundraising fun to benefit Roxbury Arts Group. People are still talking about Follies 2014, our first variety show fundraiser, when friends and neighbors gathered at the Roxbury Arts Center and enjoyed quality entertainment for a good cause. It was a sellout!
Delaware & Ulster Railroad’s own Dave Riordan returns as MC, presenting a diverse range of entertainment: renowned magicians Artie Martello and Brian Foley; vocalist Marge Miller, with ace accompanist Kent Brown; RAG Program Director and singer-songwriter Robert Burke Warren; poet Esther de Jong; good neighbors the Pine Hill Playboys; and the cast of Roxbury Central School’s production of Phantom of the Country Opera.
Some lucky attendees will walk away with choice raffle items, generously donated by local businesses. Among this year’s raffle items: Roxbury Rocks Package (including a night at the Roxbury Motel, gift certificates to Roxbury businesses); a NYC Weekend Package (night at the Chambers Hotel and tickets to exciting NYC cultural institutions); a Relaxation Package (massage, wine gift basket, handmade chocolate); and a Women’s Wellness Weekend (at Frost Valley YMCA).
Follies 2015 promises to be another night to remember.
