Sophie Gault brings her foot-stomping guitar playing and rich, soulful voice to Stamford as she joins John Scarpulla for this performance, the second in a series of three at 76 MAIN! in Stamford.
Born in Prince George’s County, Maryland and having grown up on the eastern shore, Sophie Gault was first influenced by her father’s love for the Stones. Learning from her father and some eastern shore greats like Mike Armstrong and Darin Engh, she began with a roots style and has emerged as an Americana singer/songwriter. Her performances are defined by high energy, rich vocals, and foot stomping guitar.
