The Roxbury Arts Group’s Drop In Art Class Series continues on Saturday, July 20th with Marilyn Silver who will be focusing on print-making! These workshops are great for anyone who would like to explore a new art form or work and gain inspiration from fellow artists. No prior experience is necessary. Be sure to bring an old shirt to keep your clothes clean. Children and adults are welcome to come and let your inner creativity out.

Marilyn Silver has been painting for many years, focusing primarily on the landscape. Her work has been exhibited widely and can currently be viewed at the Longyear Gallery in Margaretville, NY.  Silver retired recently from her career as art teacher at a public school in the Bronx, where she greatly enjoyed and harnessed the enthusiasm and creativity of her students.

July’s class will be help in the Old Bank Building at 53484 State Route 30 in Roxbury NY so as to not conflict with For Arts’ Sake, a fine art benefit auction happening later that same day. In the future, our Drop In Art Classes will be held at the Roxbury Arts Center at 5025 Vega Mountain Road in Roxbury.
