Handbuilding in Clay

There will be the option to decorate with stamps and incising and also select the glaze of your choice. Monoprint Workshop

Headwaters Arts Center 66 Main Street, Stamford, NYIntroduction to Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) with Megan Avery FPP is the technique of using paper as a foundation to stabilize the quilt block as it is constructed, allowing you to sew almost any shape, size or type of quilt block. The technique is used to achieve precise, small and detailed piecing, and specific and unusual shapes that might not necessarily be achieved through traditional piecing. Paint Party!

Participants will learn acrylic painting techniques in a fun and social setting. Instruction and all materials are provided for $35 per participant. Pre-registration is required. Barb Stoesser has been hosting and leading paint parties for several years in the local community. She instructs budding artists of all ages and helps them develop confidence in their artistic journeys.
Intro to Watercolor

Different watercolor techniques and materials will be demonstrated. Suess’ encouraging and supportive style sets beginners and more experienced painters at ease. An artist, writer, and instructor, Sharon has lived in the Catskill Mountains since 1979. When she retired she had more time to delve into the creative arts.
