Role Playing Game Adventure Camp

April 1 @ 10:00 am - April 5 @ 3:30 pm

Adventurers from far off lands play dice togeter at a table inside a tavern

Set out for adventure, this Spring Break as you explore fantastical and unknown worlds using imagination, storytelling and improvisation during our Role Playing Camp for young adventurers at Headwaters Arts Center.

Led by life-long role-playing gamer Doug Idleman, campers will exercise their imaginations at this week-long camp.  Campers will create their own heroes and brave their way through mystical worlds, finding magical items and artifacts, witnessing wonders and battling enemies.  Working collaboratively, we’ll dive deep into danger, forge our own enchanted bags of holding and cast spells of power to transform our characters from stat sheets into full color portraits, worthy of their heroic deeds!

Role-playing games (RPG) have grown in popularity over the years, and now their shared storytelling connect people across the globe. This camp will introduce the basics of RPGs to campers so that they have the skills and knowledge to join campaigns in the future!
