Porchfest is a free celebration of music and community, welcoming regional musicians to perform on the front porches and lawns along Stamford, NY's Main Street for a free-flowing audience of townspeople. Porchfest 2022 will take place Saturday afternoon, July 23, rain or shine. If you're a band, singer or instrumentalist and want to showcase your talent, submit an application by May 5 here. A, My Name Is… playfully explores memory and forgetting, incorporating choreographic fragments and gestures based on memories of heightened experiences. Inspired by the phenomenon of gravity, the piece is set in a space littered with fallen apples. The vocabulary in this dance grows in the same way as one’s language skills develop over time.
