Beading Workshop
Come join Donna Ferguson on May 31st and make 2 beaded projects in one evening! Participants will be creating lava stone aromatherapy bracelets with the beads of their choice. Pick out your favorite essential oil and coat the beads to create a wearable aromatherapy diffuser. The second project will be creating thin anklets with clasps. There will be a large selection of beads and findings to choose from- make a unique gift for a friend or for yourself! This workshop is suitable for all ages. A Cabaret Benefit for the Roxbury Arts Group featuring Marge Helenchild with musical director Tracy Stark In this coming-out story, Marge Helenchild shares her observations and adventures of her Lesbian journey, from shy mid-west tomboy to proud New York City feminist. Cabaret is the latest form of artistic expression for Marge Helenchild. She arrived on the arts scene in New York in the early 70’s as a founding member of several visual arts and performance collectives, most notably The Women’s Interart Center and The Soho 20 Feminist Art Gallery. Gallery Hours: Please Touch the Art
Gallery Hours for the latest exhibition for children; Please Touch the Art. This exhibit features works by: Gary Mayer, Beth Caspar, Karen E. Gersch, Liza Oesterle, John Jackson, Robert Parker, Megan Avery, RAO, Erika Oesterle, Barbara Smith, Celia Buchanan, Rod Sauquillo + Gene Hosey, Katy Keen, Dara McLaurine and Ellen Stewart. All of the art is designed to be touched and/or interacted with; it has also been hung at a lower level so that children can fully immerse themselves in the exhibition.

Baby and Toddler Playgroup
Babies, toddlers and their caretakers are welcome to gather at Headwaters Arts Center to socialize and play. Balls, blocks and other sensory materials will be available for the children to interact with. Come join us and meet other parents in the area! Drop in any time between 10 and 11:30.

Figure drawing for adults (18+) will begin on May 9th with sessions every other week. These drop-in classes cost $10 and include newsprint and charcoal. Please note that these are uninstructed sessions of life drawing. Registration is not required, but please RSVP so we can get an idea of how many places to set up.

With games like Dungeons & Dragons, Dungeon World, and many others, we can imagine ourselves as great heroes adventuring their way through mystical and magical worlds, seeing wonders and battling great enemies, and finding magical items and artifacts. Clay Box Workshop
Clay Box Workshop
Rhonda Harrow-Engel will return to Headwaters to lead a second clay workshop on June 11th. She will guide participants through the steps of creating a clay box using slab construction techniques. There will be a variety of pattern blocks, stamps and drawing tools available to decorate the surface and to create texture. Rhonda will glaze and fire the boxes at her Delhi studio and will have them ready for pickup at Headwaters a couple weeks later. This workshop is suitable for all ages. The Roxbury Arts Group has partnered with the Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts to sign up interested artists and organizations to their workshop Forming a Non Profit at no cost to Delaware County residents. Get into that Summer feeling by painting a beach scene with Barb Stoesser! Instruction and all materials are provided for $35 per participant. Refreshments available or BYOB.
