When the community suffers an adverse event we are all affected. Change and uncertainty are uncomfortable places to find ourselves in. Please join Art Therapist Ellen Stewart in a safe environment of unconditional acceptance during these community sessions where she will use art to foster healing.

When we heal ourselves we heal our community. Art therapy is a tool that combines the healing value of the creative process with processing of events. Join us in the safe environment of the Headwaters Arts Center as we strive to rebuild ourselves and our community. Please join us as we use a variety of art materials to document and explore ways this healing can occur. Let’s share and move forward together.

Ellen Greene Stewart is a board certified, licensed Art Therapist. She studied at Goddard College and has served our local population in this capacity for the past 25 years. She is the author of four non-fiction books and numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. She is passionate about the healing value of the arts.
