Come join Headwaters Program Manger Josh and Community Engagement Specialist Rod as we take humble paper and transform it in all manners of fantastic creatures through the magic of origami!
By fantastic creatures, we probably mean cranes with flapping wings which is where everyone starts, but we can also make frogs that jump and shuriken that fly and a lot of other fun things. If you’ve tried origami but ended up balling up the paper and throwing it across the room, then this is the workshop for you!
This event is totally free, and open to participants ages 5 and older. Younger folders should be accompanied by a caregiver with patience and an eye for detail. Lots of art can be messy but origami requires precise folds and creases.
