Disrupting the Narrative: Strengthening the Artist Within
July 22 @ 10:00 am – July 23 @ 3:00 pm
This workshop is made possible through the Statewide Community Regrant Program known locally as the Delaware County Arts Grants.
Through a combination of Creative Mindfulness* and Improvisational Logic*, participants will learn to access their inner creative power and sustain a practice of heightened awareness in all the spaces they occupy. The workshop will also focus on Narrative Disruption*, a powerful tool for personal, organizational, and social transformation through stories of lived experience. By the end of this workshop, you will have strengthened your inner artist and gained valuable tools for disrupting the narratives that hold us back. Join us for two days of exploration, growth, and transformation!
*Creative Mindfulness: the ability to use our creative power (genius) to sustain a practice of heightened or complete state awareness in both personal and professional spaces.
*Improvisational Logic: the act of bypassing self-doubt, embarrassment, or insecurity to access one’s generative powers.
*Narrative Disruption- the craft of personal, organizational, and social transformation through stories of lived experience.
Participants should consider bringing a lunch or ordering ahead for pick up.
