Art in the Park: Coffee Filter Fun

A child’s participation in the arts empowers them to think critically and use their creativity in ways that will ultimately help them to succeed later in life. With that in mind, the Roxbury Arts Group is excited to announce a new free program series called Art in the Park which will be taking place each Wednesday in August of 2016. A different free activity will be available each Wednesday from 10a to 11a for children ages 3 to 6 years old and all of the necessary materials will be provided.
This will be the fourth event of the series and the children will be creating art with coffee filters and markers. These average household items will be used with just a touch of water to create beautiful butterflies and flowers. Make many flowers and the child can turn them into a flower crown with just a few additional steps.
Convenient parking in the Gould Memorial Church Parking Lot.
This event will happen rain or shine.
Restrooms will be open and available during the event.
