A child’s participation in the arts empowers them to think critically and use their creativity in ways that will ultimately help them to succeed later in life. With that in mind, the Roxbury Arts Group is excited to announce the return of Art In The Park, the free summer arts program for artists ages 3 & up. Join us on Wednesday, August 2 at 10 AM for our first Art in the Park session of the summer! This summer we are focusing on teaching your little artists the techniques of some of the great artists! We will begin with abstract painter, Jackson Pollock. Prepare for you’re young artists to get a little messy as we will have stations set up for them to do some action spatter painting just like Pollock!
