Main Street and Railroad Avenue
Stamford NY

Our Concerts in the Park series closes with the Hop City Hellcats who hit the scene back in 2012, shaking up the music world with their blend of classic outlaw country and blues. They’ve also garnered acclaim for their original music and fresh take on a few classics. The band has been busy so far, most notably, as the house band two years in a row at Taste of Country Festival with renowned artists like Willie Nelson, Trace Atkins, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, and Dierks Bentley. Hop City Hellcats has also recently played as support for the Mavericks on their national tour in 2013. From playing stages like B.B. Kings in NYC, as support for David Allen Coe, to Belgium Comes to Cooperstown beerfest, these guys are just as comfortable in a sit down theater as they are in a honky tonk.

The band is comprised of a variety of road worthy veterans. On rhythm guitar and vocals, Randy Miritello leads the project and comes from a background of old-time and country music. In his other music venture, Horseshoe Lounge Playboys, he has toured the country and shared the stage with Levon Helm, Steve Earle, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Felice Brothers and many more. This band is an ever-growing collective of Miritello’s favorite players in the upstate New York area and always a treat.

This event is free and open to the public. Rain location for our Concerts in the Park series is the Stamford First Presbyterian Church, 96 Main Street, Stamford, NY.
