Art in the Park: Print Making

A child’s participation in the arts empowers them to think critically and use their creativity in ways that will ultimately help them to succeed later in life. With this in mind, the Roxbury Arts is excited to announce a new free program series called Art in the Park which will be taking place each Wednesday in August of 2016. A different free activity will be available each Wednesday from 10a to 11a for children ages 3 to 6 years old and all of the necessary materials will be provided.
This will be the third event of the program series and the children will be making prints. These prints will come from fruits and vegetables provided by the Roxbury Arts Group, along with paint of assorted colors. The children will use their fruit and vegetable stamps to create colorful and crazy designs on paper.
Convenient parking in the Gould Memorial Church Parking Lot.
This event will happen rain or shine.
Restrooms will be open and available during the event.
