Children ages 3 & up, and their parents, are welcome to join the Roxbury Arts Group at the Kirkside Park Barns on Wednesday, August 16, at 10AM for our third week of Art in the Park. We will continue to look at famous artists by exploring the nature that surrounds us here in the catskills and helping your young artists draw what they observe in sketch notebooks that will be provided. Outdoor enthusiast and famous painter, John James Audubon, used the very same technique to learn about different North American animals when he moved to the United States in 1802.
