The third and final installment of this Stamford Summer Concert Series is all country, as Delaware County’s own Country Express takes over the park. Whether you own a pair of cowboy boots or not, you’ll be swinging and swaying to classic country sounds! Come to dance or just to relax on a blanket in Stamford’s beautiful Veterans Memorial Park.

Rob started his career playing with many different bands and once performed with folk music legend Pete Seeger. Vocalist Terri Whitney, of Franklin NY, has performed with country superstar Kenny Rogers. Larry Jamieson, of Walton, NY, plays bass, pedal steel, piano, guitar, and sings. Larry performed on stage with the great Hank Thompson at Claremore, Oklahoma. Halcottsville’s own John De Maille has played pedal steel for 40 years, toured with Johnny Paycheck and The Flying Burrito Brothers, and recorded with Vince Gill. He’s also accomplished on the Telecaster, banjo, and mandolin. Walton resident Randy Hulse Sr. is one of the best country-music drummers in the business, and once opened for Hank Williams, Jr.
