The Roxbury Arts Group will present a special Decentralization (DEC) Grant Information Session for Individual Artist on Friday September 20 at 5:30pm, at the Bushel, 106 Main Street, Delhi. This funding opportunity, made possible by a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered locally by the Roxbury Arts Group, represents a “live & work” investment in local artists, designed to increase support for local artist-initiated activity and to highlight the role of artists as important members of the community. At this special information session for Individual Artists, Samantha Nick, Grants & Community Coordinator for the Roxbury Arts Group, will review grant guidelines, provide an overview of the grant process, provide tips for successful grant writing, and discuss the issues particular to Individual Artist applicants.
Anyone interested in applying for a DEC Grant to support projects and programs that will take place in 2020 must attend an information session. All DEC Grant Information Sessions are free and open to the public.
