Collage with Nat Thomas

In these classes we’ll explore making and remaking new images from recycled materials and found images. In all the sessions we’ll work with the fundamental techniques of collage that can unify a composition of diverse and unexpected materials and images. The May 18 session will focus particularly on the use of texture in collage.
Nat Thomas is an artist, gardener and sometime actor, who has lived almost half his life in Margaretville. He is a founding member of the Longyear Gallery, serves on the Board of the Catskill Mountain Artisans Guild, and teaches with the Creating Art Together program. He has been an instructor with Kids in the Kaatskills since its inception.
