The Roxbury Arts Group will present a professional development workshop for artists and organizations called “Social Media Marketing” which will focus on how to use social media platforms to promote events and increase audience interaction. Lisa Wisely, Director of Strategy at Blue Spark Creative Services, will be the featured guest and will share which platforms are the most relevant for promoting arts and community events. Workshop participants are required to complete a brief survey prior to the workshop to evaluate their needs. Lisa will tailor the workshop directly towards growing participants’ understanding of social media and how they can best navigate through the digital world.
“Social Media Marketing” is a professional development workshop for artists and organizations in Delaware County through the support of the Decentralization Grant Program (DEC), a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts. This workshop is being offered to strengthen the capacity of local artists and organizations. This workshop is free for all Decentralization Grant applicants and awardees from the past three years. All others may participate in this workshop for a cost of $5. Pre-registration is required to attend this workshop.
