Wintertide: Mending Matters with Jeanne Ellsworth

Wintertide community events are a series of free programs supported by the Friends of Roxbury and the Roxbury Arts Group that are designed to encourage our community to gather over the winter months. These events are open to everyone – no reservations are necessary to participate.

Mending clothes is a beautiful and creative way to extend the life of your clothing, and it makes a powerful statement about your values.

Bring your to-be-mended garments to this event and work with Roxbury resident Jeanne Ellsworth and friends to learn techniques to darn, stitch, and patch your way through your wardrobe. Mending materials will be available, and attendees are welcome to bring their own. This event is free and open to all.
