Roxbury Community Picnic

With the end of summer in sight, celebrate Labor Day Weekend in Kirkside Park at the annual Roxbury Community Potluck celebration!
Beginning at 6:00 pm, attendees are invited to bring a dish to share. Please provide a label with ingredients. Guests should also bring their own place setting including a plate, utensils, and drinks.
At 6:30p music will kick off with Roxbury’s own Sue’s Garage. Enjoy cornhole, tug o’ war, and other lawn games.
NEW THIS YEAR – Fun & Games! At 7:00p we will be debuting two new community games:
Nailed It Relay Race – Put together a team-of-four or join a team-of-four at the park and enter the Nailed It Relay Race. Each team member will take one swing at a 6 inch nail before passing the hammer onto their teammate as they work collaboratively to drive it into a piece of wood (provided by Catskill Mountain Wood).
Inflatable Costume Obstacle Course Race – What else can we say? You – dressed in an inflatable costume. We – create an obstacle course. Hilarity ensues. There will be a separate race for adults and kiddos. Bring your own inflatable costume if you have them – we will have four to borrow.
The most incredible fireworks show this side of the East Branch of the Delaware River kicks off at dusk (8:30-ish).
