The event kicks off with a thrilling exhibition match, featuring two teams of skilled local pickleball players. Nelson Shin from New York City, Donna McDaniel from Denver NY, and Elaine and Bruce O’Mara-Hulbert from Roxbury NY will compete against each other, showcasing their expertise in this dynamic sport. Guests will witness fast-paced action and impressive gameplay, setting the tone for an energetic and entertaining event.

Following the exhibition match, Nelson Shin, who has competed in tournaments at the national level, will conduct a clinic for anyone interested in learning and experiencing the sport firsthand. This clinic offers beginners the opportunity to receive guidance from an expert, ensuring an enjoyable and informative session. Advance reservations for the clinic are required to provide a personalized experience for all participants. Paddles and balls will be provided, and participants only need to bring rubber-soled shoes and enthusiasm for a fun-filled introduction to pickleball.

The bar will be open throughout the event, serving refreshing beverages for guests to enjoy. Food will also be available, ensuring that attendees can indulge in delicious treats while socializing with fellow art and sports enthusiasts. To further support the fundraising efforts, a silent auction will be held featuring a variety of enticing items generously donated by local merchants.
