The Delaware County Arts Grant is administered by the Roxbury Arts Group and is a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts. Funds are used to support projects in three areas: Community Arts, Creative Learning, and Individual Artist.
The grant is adjudicated by a panels of administrators, artists and art enthusiasts who work or live in Delaware County. Beginning in the 2025 cycle we will have two panels, one for the Community Arts and Creative Learning categories, and one for the Individual Artist category. Nine panelists make up the Community Arts/Creative Learning panel and seven make up the Individual Artist panel.
Panelists read all applications to be considered in their assigned category and review/score up to 35 applications in advance of a panel deliberation meeting. Panelists are assigned up to four applications to summarize and present to the rest of the panelists. At this meeting, panelists will discuss the applications and judge them on a preset criterium.
The Roxbury Arts Group is accepting panelist nominations for our 2025 grant cycle in all categories.
We accept self nominations. Serving on a panel does not disqualify you or your organization from applying for the Delaware County Arts Grant. In cases of a conflict of interest, you will be asked to recuse yourself from the discussion of that application.
