Kimberly Whritner is a mixed media artist living in the Western Catskills. Her work draws inspiration from the natural world, and the feeling of wonder and amazement it evokes. Her compositions include needle felted animal portraits, assemblage boxes, collage, watercolor paintings and sculptural work. She works in textiles, paints, plaster, paper mache, vintage ephemera and wool. Over the years, nature has taught her to "embrace the perfection of imperfection."
