Plant Matter
Opening Reception Saturday, August 17, 4-6 pm
Featuring the work of twenty local and regional artists, Plant Matter explores all aspects of plant life and decay, from representational works to art made with plant pigments or constructed using found organic materials. Works included in this exhibit span a wide range of media, including painting, print, lithograph, collage, sculpture, ceramic and sound.
Nature Ruthlessly Recalled: Paintings by Susan Mayr

Glimpses of Our Landscape – Black and White and Color
Opening reception on Saturday, November 2, from 4-6 pm.
Come out to see ‘Glimpses of Our Landscape’, a duo-show featuring work by Amy Silberkleit and Natalie Wargin. The stark intricacies of Amy Silberkleit’s lithograph prints and the fantastical elements of Natalie Wargin’s paintings explore the magic and wonder of the forest. The show will be on display in the Roxbury Arts Group’s Walter Meade Gallery from November 2 – January 11.
Rebirth, Wreck and Rebuild
The Demolition Derby is a staple of the county fair and at the core of this show, where the work of Dylan and Kelsey Cole, photography by Dan Nelken and video by Alec Sutherland explores cycles of creation for destruction and destruction for creation.
Feathers in a Notebook: Ian O’ Brien Memorial Exhibit
The Roxbury Arts Group is honored to present ‘Feathers in a Notebook’, a memorial exhibition for Ian O’Brien. Join us in celebration of the impact creativity had on Ian’s life and, in turn, the impact that Ian’s creativity had on others. An opening reception will take place on Friday, June 12th, from 4-6pm. A food truck will be open around the corner at the Roxbury Fire Department.

“Forgotten Spaces” explores the personal, metaphorical, and societal structures lost to time, highlighting the gradual decay of once vibrant scenes, reflecting on how both buildings on backroads and the structures we inhabit over the course of our lives can become landmarks for growth and grief.
