Catskill Mountain Hall of Fame Quilt Show
The Catskill Mountain Hall of Fame will present its biennial quilt show, “A Festival of Quilts” on Saturday September 24th and 25th, 2016 from 10am-4pm at the Roxbury Arts Center, Hilt Kelly Hall, 5025 Vega Mountain Rd. Roxbury NY 12474.
This exhibit of over 100 pieces will include bed quilts, wall hangings, home decor and clothing created by the quilters from the five counties, Greene, Delaware, Ulster, Sullivan and Schoharie, that make up the Catskill Mountain region of New York State. Additionally, there will be an exhibit of the 2013 and 2015 inductee’s to the Hall of Fame.
A special feature of this show will be a book signing by Betty Pillsbury of her new book “Crazy Quilts, A Beginner’s Guide” on Saturday, September 24th from 10am-4pm. Betty, a Middleburgh resident, is world renowned for the magic she creates with needle, thread, ribbon and embellishments.
Special events will be a raffle quilt, door prizes, a raffle of theme baskets, children’s activity and vendors.
Entrance fee is $3.00.
