Dear Friends of the Roxbury Arts Group,
As the glorious summer months leave us, there is a time to reflect and to celebrate. It has been a rich and successful season of performances and events, which were received with increased participation and enthusiasm.
Please join us as part of this celebration for a cocktail party at the gracious Quenn Anne home of Sally and Ben Breen on the outskirts of Margaretville. They have just completed a tasteful and respectful renovation of one of the town’s treasured grande dames – a turn-of-the century home carefully restored by our local contractors and artisans, who will be on hand to speak of the project.
Food, music, drinks, including a signature Art-tini cocktail, and a silent auction of fine goods and services will be features of the event on October 21 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Our future includes fall programming – FIDDLERS! 24, this year dedicated to celebrating the phenomenal female fiddlers who have been making waves in this field of traditional music; a theatrical experience for the very young; exhibits in our Walt Meade Gallery; and the Holiday Arts Market. As we plan for the next year’s programming and projects, we ask that you celebrate with us and support the goals of our organization of making the arts an integral part of our lives here– enriching, enlightening and engaging!
