October 1 – DEC Grant Information Session/Stamford

Stamford Village Library
117 Main Street
Stamford, NY
FREE

The Roxbury Arts Group will begin presenting a series of Information Sessions throughout Delaware County to inform area artists, organizations, and residents about the funding opportunities available through the Decentralization Grant Program (DEC), a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts and administered locally by RAG.

DEC funds are used to support arts projects in three categories: Community Arts, Arts Education, and Individual Artists. This year, the Roxbury Arts Group is excited to announce an expansion to the Individual Artist category. The Individual Artist Decentralization Grant opportunity is a “live & work” investment in local artists, designed to increase support for local artist-initiated activity and to highlight the role of artists as important members of the community. These grants are intended to support creative, professional artists interested in working within a community setting.

Anyone interested in applying for a DEC Grant to support projects and programs that will take place in 2020 must attend an information session. All DEC Grant Information Sessions are free and open to the public.

The DEC Grant deadline for projects and programs that will take place in 2020 is Thursday, November 21, 2019.
