You are invited to celebrate the successful 40th Anniversary Season of the Roxbury Arts Group at Cocktails for Culture, a benefit held at the opulent Villa Sposa on Saturday, November 2 from 4:00 – 7:00pm. Hosted by Villa Sposa proprietors and arts enthusiasts Mercedes & Aldo Gonzalez, Cocktails for Culture will feature a light tapas dinner, signature cocktails, and a silent auction ensuring that guests will have the opportunity to continue to pamper themselves after the party is over. Cocktails for Culture is a benefit for the Roxbury Arts Group, a non-profit community arts organization dedicated to making the arts an integral part of life in the Catskills. Tickets are limited and can be reserved below.
The captivating Villa Sposa was built in typical Bavarian-style as a spiritual retreat for nuns. The original prayer house is now a meditation room blessed by monks, priests, shamans, and rabbis. Mercedes & Aldo have assimilated many different cultures into the interior décor, making Villa Sposa the perfect place to decompress. The Villa has been modernized and given a complete overhaul with the finest details and exotic aesthetics applied. When you step through the grand carved German Black Forest doors, ornate vintage furnishings, chandeliers, Persian rugs, Turkish tiles, lush velvets, and much more await you in this Catskills hideaway like no other.
As you enjoy the tapas and cocktails, prepared by our event hosts, you will be able to place bids on stays at luxury accommodations at the Roxbury Motel, The Chambers Hotel in Manhattan, and one lucky couple will be able to spend the evening at Villa Sposa following the Cocktails for Culture event (so pack a bag)!
