Opening Reception Saturday, March 22, 2:30 – 5:00 PM

Richard Kathamnn works plein air in the Catskill forests, on the Atlantic shore in Massachusetts and Maine, and in New Mexico. His landscape drawings and paintings have been exhibited at The Hyde Collection (Glens Falls) and at The Albany Institute of History and Art. In June 2012 Kathmann took part in the renowned painting marathon, “Arbor Vitae,” at Old Westbury Garden, presented by the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture. Kathmann trained at the University of Chicago, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, and Pratt Institute. He currently lives in his saphouse studio on the dairy farm, no longer active, in East Meredith NY.

Exhibiting Artist Richard Kathmann will also be leading a Drop-In-Art Class: Plein Aire in conjunction with his exhibit on Saturday, April 19.

This exhibit closes on Saturday, April 26th with a Landscape Artist Panel Discussion at 1:00 PM in the Walt Meade Gallery.
