Introduction to Foundation Paper Piecing (FPP) with Megan Avery
FPP is the technique of using paper as a foundation to stabilize the quilt block as it is constructed, allowing you to sew almost any shape, size or type of quilt block. The technique is used to achieve precise, small and detailed piecing, and specific and unusual shapes that might not necessarily be achieved through traditional piecing.
In this beginner workshop, we’ll use this technique to create small mountain motifs from fabric scraps that can easily be sewn into garments, home decor and quilts later.
