Putt Putt for the Arts – a Miniature Golf Party – This Evening!!!

The Roxbury Arts Group invites everyone to celebrate and support its 2022 season with a party including gift auctions and fun-filled miniature golf competitions on Saturday afternoon, July 16, 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Putt Putt Van Winkle in Bovina.
Enjoy miniature golf with friends and neighbors while eating, drinking, competing, bidding and raising funds to support the Roxbury Arts Group as we launch another summer of art in the Catskills at Putt Putt Van Winkle, created by Brooke Alderson and Scott Hill. The new, immensely popular 9-hole miniature golf course is a wonderland, themed on the Catskills’ preeminent literary hero, Rip Van Winkle. Putt your way through the early evening, admiring Alderson and Scott’s hilarious, updated depictions of Van Winkle’s story, imbibe festive libations and savor culinary treats while raising funds to support the Roxbury Arts Group and its many programs through an auction of fantastic gift baskets created just for this event. Children 12 and under are admitted free!

From Main Street Roxbury:
- Drive south on Rte. 30 (4 miles) to turn right onto Cold Spring Rd.
- Follow Cold Spring Rd (1.5 miles) to turn left onto Lower Meeker Hollow Rd.
- Follow Meeker Hollow Rd. (0.7 miles) to turn left onto New Kingston Mountain Rd.
- Follow New Kingston Mountain Rd. (3.7 miles) to make a slight left onto Thompson Hollow Rd.
- Follow Thompson Hollow Rd. (2.1 miles) to turn right onto New Kingston Rd, Hwy. 6.
- Follow New Kingston Rd, Rte 6 (5 miles) to pass The New Rd, continuing on Bovina Rd, Hwy. 6.
- Putt Putt Van Winkle is on your left (0.6 miles).
From Main Street Margaretville:
- Turn North onto Walnut St. and continue (0.3 miles) onto Margaretville Mountain Rd.
- Follow Margaretville Mountain Road (2.7 miles) to turn right onto Hwy 6.
- Follow Hwy. 6 (7.9 miles) and Putt Putt Van Winkle is on your left.
From Main St. Andes:
- Drive North on Rte. 28 (4.8 miles) to turn right onto Bovina Rd., Hwy. 6.
- Follow Bovina Rd., Hwy. 6 (4.6 miles) and Putt Putt Van Winkle is on your right.
