Handbuilding in Clay

Rhonda Harrow-Engel will lead workshop participants through the steps of making slab constructions from clay: mugs, vases, pitchers or jars. There will be the option to decorate with stamps and incising and also select the glaze of your choice. Rhonda will fire the pieces at her studio and will have them ready for pick up at the end of February.
Rhonda has been teaching Drawing and Ceramics at SUNY Delhi for 30 years. She is in the midst of retiring and is beginning to offer workshops for the community at large. Rhonda grew up in NYC and graduated from Bard College with a Fine Arts degree. She moved to the Catskills in 1991 with her family and is currently the Director of the MURAL Gallery in Hobart. It is her hope to offer more workshops in drawing, painting and ceramics in the future.
The workshop fee is $75 and includes all materials.
