Animation Camp

Come join us at Headwaters Arts Center from April 3rd-7th for Animation Camp!
Design and create your own stop motion film during this five-day camp. Students will use a variety of materials to create their own characters and environments, then film their animations frame by frame.
Add sound effects and music to see your characters come to life during this exciting hands-on camp!
This camp runs from 9 am to 3 pm and is suited for children 10 and up. There is a suggested tuition of $100 for the 5 days, but you may pay what you wish.
Campers should bring a lunch, two snacks and a refillable water bottle each day.
About the instructor:
For over 25 years, Jon Davies has been an artist, enthusiast and student of stop-motion animation. Beginning in the 1990s on the local public access channel, Jon’s creative exploration of movement and “trick film” has stretched over the years and come to incorporate a wide variety of both traditionally taught and self-invented techniques.
